According to a website dedicated to “Islamic-related matters,” dancing is permitted in Islamic law, “for the righteous among the believing men.”
“There is a distinction between the men who have faith in God and the one who goes out to pray, and for this there is a distinction in which it is permitted for dancing,” the website states.
But that distinction, in some senses, can vary as Islamic law differs from country to country. In addition, many Muslims who follow the Quran believe that women don’t have the same rights as men and that dancing may interfere with their purity and dignity.
When it comes to a woman taking a step with her feet in front of a man, a sharia court in Nigeria determined that in order for the woman’s body to be protected, the “head should be down, not touching the ground and the body should be lifted slightly, so that there is no thrusting of the hips.”
If a man is taking a similar step, however, that would be considered an “unlawful thrust,” the Islamic court ruled.

Even if the couple divorces, there is still a legal tie between the man and the child. The child belongs to the woman regardless of the divorce decree or the husband’s decision.
In some countries, Islam also allows the men to take on more responsibilities or responsibilities as wives for their sons or fathers.
In a 2011 study by Islam Today, more than 1,500 women from all over the world expressed how they thought this should work. The majority, 76 percent, said it should be up to Islamic law as defined by Islamic religion to determine when the wife must remarry her first husband. The other 14 percent said she must get permission from her Islamic faith.
Do Muslims think slavery is OK?
According to the Pew research, Muslims generally do not see slavery as an acceptable Islamic institution.
A 2005 opinion poll of Muslims in Germany and Germany’s Muslim community conducted by the German Federal Anti-Islamic Vergessenamt found that 80 percent of Muslims were against slavery. The poll also found that 84 percent of respondents said that Islamic law does not allow
