TIP: If you have the desire to look “hot,” try the “hot-toned” diet for a couple of weeks. Start at 1 meal a day and do a 20-30 minute workout. Then go slow and gradually, adding 3 to 5 meals every week. Keep the calories low and add variety, like high-heel boots, leggings, and a bra. Try the hot-toned routine for 10 days, or even longer, with different foods.

What’s the secret of slimming?
You can cut fat off your body in two ways. One is known as dieting. It involves cutting calories by 30% or more. Another way is exercise, which can include moderate- to vigorous-intensity activity like walking and cycling. In this way, you burn energy while you’re eating, and your weight doesn’t seem to be impacted at all.
“This type of exercise is not harmful,” says Michael Greger, MD, associate director of the Prevention Research Center at the Cleveland Clinic Obesity Research Center. “If it’s done properly, it’s extremely beneficial to the body — more than the amount of body fat lost.”

Your diet can do more than just lose fat off your skin. Here are some ideas you can try for fat loss and maintenance:
Eat a balanced diet with lots of whole grains, legumes, fruits, vegetables, and fish. Limit your red meat and high-fat foods. And remember some fat comes from saturated and trans fats, which can be found in dairy, dairy products (especially cheese), egg yolks, and butter. It’s also likely that fatty foods such as lean meats, poultry and seafood will keep your cholesterol from rising. Plus, they often contain protein (especially protein with protein), and high amounts of vegetables and fruits.
Choose a healthful, whole-grain bread, wheat bread, pasta, and whole-grain pasta such as chickpea flour. Choose whole-grain baked goods such as breads, muffins, buns, doughnuts, cookies, and cakes.
Add plenty of fruits and vegetables to your meals. If you’re on the low-fat, low-cholesterol, Mediterranean diet with fruits, try a fruit and vegetable supplement such as green tea and/or green tea extract, which has the same effect on cholesterol levels as statins.
