I’m thinking you’d use your left hand to pop them, and your right hand to lock them down around the shaft?
If you have to, this would be how you could pop and lock your hips. And you should probably be able to do it on its own too, as long as you have your hips and butt locked up.
How do you tell when you’re not moving properly with your hips locked?
You’re working on it, but you’re still not moving well with your hips in a locked position. It’ll take a little time to get used to it.
What do you like doing differently when it comes to your own hips?
Like I said, you can’t just work on one aspect. You’ve got to do each of them differently to get your body moving naturally and in the way it is supposed to move.
How do you balance while using your hips more than you previously did?
I used to balance with my hands on top of my face or a pillow when I was a kid, but now I use my hips to balance rather than my hands.
I started using my hips again more when I moved to stand up on my own again. And I started using my hands again more after they got injured. I don’t know if I was always using them at that level.
I also found a balance point when I was getting back up when I was about to fall down or collapse. If you have to, it can be just to straighten your spine and balance while using your hips to push forward. If you already have hip flexion, this is a great way to move.
How long does it take for you to be as strong as when you were first starting out?
For me, it took about six months.
That’s a long time to spend working on something. I’ve been working on it for years, and I’ve always kept my hips locked with these movements. So I’ve never been one of those people who started out not using my hips at all.
The first time I really had to think about using my hips was when I started to work with squats, and I was able to do pretty well with them. When I was starting out, I’d use my arms to get my feet together, and that’s when I started to think of using my hips.
