To see your dance moves are up for a round-up, simply follow the instructions below.

Step 1: First, take one square off the mat and place it in front of you. Take your right hand and place it over the square you have taken off the mat.

Step 2: Now take the other square off the mat and place it on top of your first square.

Step 3: Then you can move each of your squares in a clockwise and counter-clockwise direction, back and forwards in a clockwise direction, back and forward in a counter-clockwise direction, and backwards in a clockwise direction.

Step 4: Then move the whole square away from you (the mat must be clear) and look around to discover which square is next.

Step 5: Move the square onto the mat and begin to follow your dancing moves.

Did you know? The number of squares that makes up the dance moves range from six to eight.

How many moves can you make?

You won’t be told the total number of moves until after the round-up and the performance. However, you are able to count down the movements yourself using the chart below, which shows how many moves there are in each round.

Step 1: First, you will be shown how many squares can be made in one round, then the total number of moves can be seen.

When can you make more moves than in the last round?

The next possible action will be for you after the round-up. If you fail to complete all the motions to a satisfactory level then you won’t be allowed to continue playing.

What happens to the moves when they are too difficult to make?

If you wish to continue, then the only moves that count for a round-up will be the ones that are the most difficult. If you fail to complete more than half of the moves then you will have to start again.

I can’t dance!

After the round-up, you will be told the number of moves you can use in a round. The more movements you can make, then the better. Keep in mind that you must not use more moves than in the last round.
