Can you teach yourself English?
Yes. In fact, there are many great ways to learn English.
But the first step is to learn at least a couple of languages. You may need to acquire skills related to reading and writing to begin with:
Learn a foreign language to understand other languages
Learn a foreign language to improve your communication skills
Learn a foreign language for leisure and self-development
Become fluent in your preferred speaking dialect
You can also explore languages online. Start writing a profile profile on a language you’d like to learn, like Dutch, which requires you to study an advanced level in three years.
You can also join a language exchange program to learn more languages.
There may even be opportunities to use your natural ability to perform in professional and/or educational settings.
You can apply for a U.S. passport and move to a country where you can perform freely, at least part-time, on a professional level.
But this may require your family first to sign a new waiver form and receive approval from an official. (See the below for more information on doing that.)
