There are various funding options available for trips like this. The most well-known fund is TIAA-CREF – The American Institute for Certified Financial Professionals. TIAA-CREF also offers a discount account to make the most of your vacation costs.

The American Council on Education (ACE) is another option among the groups that offer scholarships for low-income students.
